While colorway A00 is made from 100% long-lasting Norwegian wool, colorway M00 is made from premium undyed lightweight wool from Uruguay, utilizing the natural colors of the animal fiber. This approach not only highlights the beauty of the wool in its most authentic form but also preserves its natural qualities by eliminating the dyeing process, resulting in a garment that is as natural as it is stylish.

Our undyed version of the Hannah cardigan (color M00) is made from premium undyed lightweight wool from Uruguay, utilizing the natural colors of the animal fiber, ranging from darker to brighter tones. These different shades are sorted and blended into mélanges, creating a limited range of natural colors. Since there is no dyeing process involved, the yarn remains 100% natural and biodegradable. The absence of dyeing eliminates the need for the chemicals typically used in this process, while also conserving resources like water and energy.
Visiting Dale, a Dutch customer wore a traditional Dale of Norway cardigan from 1978, which was so admired by a Dale employee that he wanted to buy it back. This inspired a renewed design, named after both the customer’s granddaughter and the employee’s daughter, who share the name Hannah.
