The Bouvet beanie is a durable rib-knit hat crafted from airspun merino wool, offering unmatched softness and warmth with a hand-knit appearance. The understated design focuses on a perfect fit and timeless style. With its subtle elegance, the Bouvet beanie is the ideal accessory for those seeking comfort, simplicity, and a versatile look that complements any outfit.

  • Unisex
  • One size
  • Heavy knit
  • 95% exclusive air-spun merino wool, 5% polyamide (Husky 19.5 micron)
  • 1-ply
  • 5 gauge
  • Designed and knitted in Norway
  • Hand wash only

This hat is knitted with Husky, a super-soft, thick yarn that is yet remarkably light. Husky provides for light garments with a chunky, handknit look. This yarn is air-spun. In this process, wool fibers are blown through an air jet, where the fiber ends are blown into a thin core of polyamide. Airspun yarn has a light, soft, and airy quality, giving it a unique feel.

Garments knitted with Husky needs to be hand washed.

The beanie takes its name from Bouvet Island, an uninhabited volcanic island and dependency of Norway, located in the South Atlantic Ocean. It is the most remote island in the world and a protected nature reserve.
